Created in 2005 in Toulouse, ekito is a consulting and expertise firm specialized in new digital technologies and the realization of innovative projects.

For the past ten years, ekito has grown with great consistency, based upon its values of independence, openness and respect.

Since its creation, ekito helps industry leaders and startups to improve, design better solutions and accelerate their products and services, with high-end expertise.

To achieve this level of commitment, our recruitment process is very selective. Only few recruitments take place every year with the objective to continually adapt our skill set with new challenges that we are facing.

Beyond the technological aspect of our expertise, we passionately believe in iterative and lean product development methodologies. We pay attention to actively listening to our clients and contribute with a disruptive mindset to the projects that we work on.

People

ekito brings together a team of proven and complementary expertise : software architects, data scientists, senior developers, agilists, lean startup coaches, UX designers, business developers,startuppers, makers.

ekito’s team members actively contribute in their communities of expertise, publishing regularly on our blog and giving conferences on topical subjects.

Independance

Our independence is a key factor to providing pragmatism to projects. We do not resell any product nor do we push our clients to using a particular solution. Choices are solely based on the study of the client’s very own and specific needs.

From a financial point of view, ekito is totally independent and entirely owned by its founder Benjamin Böhle-Roitelet.

Excellence

We are vigilant in the selection of our missions.

Our main objective is to add value to innovative projects. We regularly decline proposals for collaboration when we consider that we are not in a position to bring real added value, or if the subject does not seem to be disruptive enough.

Diversity

We believe that the diversity of projects that we work on is one of our major assets. We strongly claim this diversity, which we consider to be a source of great wealth, both for our consultants and our customers.

In terms of diversity, we work with dierently sized companies : Kings but also with Pirates. We learn about, adapt and apply dierent working methods with the aim of always bringing the best into our projects.

Our diversity is also reflected by our implication in dierent industry sectors. We have made it our strategic choice not to focus on a particular vertical market. In the GrandBuilder, we operate infields as varied as aeronautics, space, health, finance, energy, sharing economy, public services, silver economy and culture (no vertical and no season accelerator).

And we have also inaugurated the BlueBuilder : the first startup accelerator focused on Ocean, Surf, Action Sports & Digital.

This diversity has proven to be a vital asset when it comes to federating various actors and ecosystems.
